The 30-Day Booster Pack, available in the DUST in game market "Bundles" section, contains a 30-Day Passive Booster and a 30-Day Active Booster, and is normally priced at 28,000 AUR (14 USD.) This pack is currently on sale for 24,000 AUR (12 USD.) A single 30-Day Booster is normally priced at 14,000 AUR (7 USD.) That's 466.66 AUR per day, or 0.23 USD per day. 30-Day Boosters are by far the cheapest way to buy boosters on a per day basis. (With passive boosters, never buy anything other than a 30-Day Booster.)
The sale price of 24,000 AUR (12 USD) for two 30-Day boosters is not an exceptional sale, but it seems to be as low as CCP will go with their sale prices. That said, if you hit your cap every week and have AUR to spare, purchase a few of these while they're on sale. (Of course, you can buy them now and use them later.)
Something to consider when using Active Boosters is to only buy 7-Day or 30-Day Boosters. When the Weekly Active Skill Cap resets on Wednesday's downtime, don't play any matches until about Saturday. (Still log in for your daily SP bonus.) When the weekend comes, plug in your Active Booster and hit your cap. When the weekly active skill cap resets, you'll still have some days left over on your active booster to hit the next cap. With the 7-Day Booster you can have 3 or 4 days of the end of one week, and then 4 or 3 days of the beginning of the second week. With the 30-Day booster you can have 1 day of a weekly cap, 4 full weeks, and 1 day of another week.
If you're buying AUR specifically for these, I recommend buy as large a pack as you can afford. The bonus AUR gives you more AUR for your USD.
Bottomline: If you use AUR, definitely buy some of these packs. If you're looking for a reason to buy AUR, this is it.
(Exchange rate is 2,000 AUR : 1 USD (based on buying 4,000 AUR for 2 USD)

Unfortunately I'm not being paid by CCP. That's not to say I wouldn't turn down a job offer, though.
I do, however, have enough cash for the things I want because I don't spend it frivolously. This is about a good a deal as I've seen for DUST. When I see a good deal I like to let others know.
All boosters were originally twice their current prices. I believe the 50% sale you're talking about was a permanent price cut. And one more booster never hurts.
If you bought the 3-Days, stop buying them. If they came as a part of a bundle you bought, then consider them a freebie. A 3-Day currently costs 3,500 AUR (1.75 USD.) Don't let 1.75 USD make the game into a chore for you. Just plug them in and use them whenever you feel like it.
Edit: Also, about stressing about hitting your cap with Active Boosters. Actives give you bonus SP that doesn't come out of your weekly active SP cap. If you plug in a 3-Day, only get half your cap by the time it expires, and then cap out later, you still got bonus SP in addition to your weekly active cap. That just to say again, don't fret about the 3-Days that came with other bundles.

If it helps you feel better that I'm not just trying to push your money into CCP's wallet, the only other time I've posted that you should consider spending money on DUST was when the DUST 514 Tactical Edition was on sale for 5 USD rather than its normal 20 USD. It was also a once per account purchase. At the same time, I recommended buying AUR when they came with an Omega Active Booster.
